Following a groundbreaking year that saw SBC Summit Barcelona 2023 shatter attendance records with an impressive gathering of 15,000 sports betting and iGaming industry professionals, the question on everyone’s mind was: what comes next for SBC’s flagship event?
Last year, we found ourselves pondering the same question.
One thing quickly became abundantly clear; the interest in our event skyrocketed, reaching a point where we realised we had to double our exhibitor numbers for 2024 to meet demand. The event had become an ESSENTIAL gathering for industry professionals.
Another realisation that struck us was that Fira Barcelona Montjuรฏc couldn’t keep up with our growth potential, and alternative options in Barcelona weren’t feasible.
THE MOVE
During one of our bi-weekly company calls, we received some exciting news: โWe’re making a move to Lisbon.โ
These words sparked the beginning of our journey towards something fresh and improved: the evolution of SBC Summit Barcelona, SBC Summit 2024 or an event intend to make ‘The Greatest Show in Gaming’.
Now, set in Lisbon at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa from September 24th to 26th, 2024, the Summitโand by extension, us as its organisersโface a crucial challenge: how do we ensure that this event, which anticipates 25,000 attendees (10,000 more than last year), doesn’t turn into a logistical and operational nightmare for everyone involved (spoiler alert: it wonโt, cause we wonโt let it).
We’re all familiar with the challenge of navigating through sprawling exhibition halls. No matter how comfy your shoes or how many designated networking spots there are for taking a breather, having a well-thought-out plan and a helpful ‘guide’ can significantly reduce stress levels at such a bustling event.
While we’ve brainstormed numerous solutions to aid you in this quest, today, we’ll unveil one of them: the launch of three specialised summits focusing on vital industry verticals: Affiliate Leaders, ESI Lisbon, and Payment Expert Summits.ย
INTRODUCING THE THREE NEW SUMMITS

AFFILIATE LEADERS SUMMIT
SBC Summit Barcelona laid the groundwork by highlighting affiliates with the addition of the Affiliate, Marketing and Media Zone to the show floor.ย
Now, SBC Summit 2024 will take things a step further with the inaugural Affiliate Leaders Summit on September 25-26. Gathering 5,000 attendees, including affiliates and operator representatives, this event promises to be a hub for affiliate managers and marketing experts worldwide.
The Affiliate Leaders Summit will build on the Affiliate Leaders brand reputation, bringing together top companies and minds in the affiliate space to exchange ideas and address industry challenges.ย
The show floor will host major operators and affiliates, optimising attendee time with a dedicated 10,000 square meter space and a conference stage focused on all things affiliation. The exhibitor list includes brands such as 22Bet, Betsson Group, Better Collective, Blue Window, Boss Partners, BWise Media, Casumo, Clever Advertising Group, Enchant Affiliates, Finixio, GG Poker, GG.Bet, Key Affiliates, LEON, Mate Affiliates, N1 Partners, NSX, Pinnacle, Royal Partners, Safe Affiliate Programs, SMH, Stake.com, Top One Partners and V Partners.
Attendees of the Affiliate Leaders Summit also gain access to the main SBC Summit 2024 event and the newly-introduced ESI Lisbon. Additionally, a VIP invite-only 300-person dinner will foster connections across C-level affiliates from all over Europe and the Americas.
ESI LISBON
SBC will unite forces with its sister company Esports Insider – an industry-focused news site and events company which provides the latest breaking esports business news at the upcoming SBC Summit 2024 event, by introducing ESIโs new flagship event ESI Lisbon 2024 taking place at the MEO Arena on 23-25 September.
Representing a true amalgamation of the most prominent aspects of the industry – esports, video games and creator economy – ESI Lisbon is poised to be the largest B2B event in this crossover to date gathering 1,000 attendees. It will showcase ESIโs largest exhibition space to date, spanning 2,200 square meters, along with two stages, and offer top-notch networking and professional socialising opportunities.
Lisbon will also debut ESIโs Esports Leaders, an exclusive, invite-only gathering for industry leaders to discuss, share ideas, and foster long-term success. The event will bring together prominent C-suite executives, founders, directors, and similar-level individuals from top esports teams, tournament operators, game publishers, brands, sponsorship agencies, federations, and select service providers.
ESI Lisbon will also feature ‘The Clutch,’ a live pitch investment competition for startup companies in the video games, esports, and creator economy sectors.
ESI Lisbon ticket holders will also gain full access to the SBC Summit.
PAYMENT EXPERT SUMMIT
Leveraging the reputation of its Payment Expert media brand and its robust connections within the global payment community, SBC is also launching the Payment Expert Summit as part of SBC Summit 2024. This summit aims to delve into the disruptions shaping the payments landscape, impacting value chains and commercial cycles for industry stakeholders.
Scheduled to take place on 24-26 September at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, the Payment Expert Summit will grant SBC Summit 2024 ticket holders exclusive access to representatives from leading international operators, payment providers, fintech firms, and experts in NFTs, and blockchain technology.
The summit’s agenda includes a dedicated stage highlighting the latest developments in the payments sector, featuring insights from C-level executives and decision-makers within the payments industry. Select leaders in the field will also gather for an evening invite-only dinner.
