The inaugural Betting on Sports America is just weeks away, with the event set to take place from 23-25 April in New Jersey. In a chat with one of our sponsors, Sportech, their Vice President Sales and Business Development for the Americas Ken Kirchner told us about exploring white-label solutions for sports betting as well as plans for engaging with new clients at #bosamerica
What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports America?
We are looking forward to the opportunity to exchange product ideas and solutions with others at the conference. For 100 years, Sportech has been a technology leader for the pari-mutuel wagering industry with a presence in 37 U.S. states and also in 37 countries around the globe.
We envision sports betting as a complimentary product offering for many of our clients in the U.S. and The Betting on Sports America event will give us a chance to directly engage new clients and partners.
What are you promoting at Betting on Sports America?
We are interested in meeting with licensed operators to explore our white-label solutions for sports betting. We can offer a full line of mobile, internet and in-venue products that will take our client’s brand directly to the consumer.
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
For us, it has been the astounding growth of our key partner, Sportradar, into the dominant provider of Managed Trading Services and backend systems. Sportradar will propel all of the pre-match and in-game wagering options across the largest spectrum of sports for Sportech’s clients.
If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
Having been in the horse racing business for almost 30 years, I’ve been around the globe for Royal Ascot, Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Hong Kong International, Dubai World Cup, Breeders’ Cup and others – so I would probably go in a different direction and say The Open Championship, preferably at St. Andrews, Scotland.
The conference is set to host 175 leading industry speakers across 40 sessions, with 60 exhibitors displaying their latest products on the 61,000 sq ft exhibition floor at the Meadowlands Exposition Center.
Delegates will also be treated to world class hospitality with plenty of business and networking opportunities in New Jersey (Meadowlands Racetrack) and New York (40/40 Club and Sky Room Rooftop Bar).
