SBC Summit 2026 Introduces Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups

SBC Summit 2026 Introduces Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups

As the global gaming industry becomes increasingly fragmented by regulation, market-specific knowledge and local connections have never been more valuable.

What works in Brazil may not work in Germany. The challenges facing operators in Africa differ entirely from those shaping growth in the UAE, Nordics, or North America. Yet at most global events, opportunities to engage directly with regulators, legal experts, and regional stakeholders often happen randomly and without structure.

That is why SBC Summit 2026 is launching Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups, a new networking format designed to connect delegates with the regulators, legal specialists, and industry professionals operating within the same regions, jurisdictions, and regulatory environments.

Networking built around regulated markets

Rather than broad networking, these sessions are built around market-focused conversations, helping operators, affiliates, suppliers, regulators, compliance specialists, and legal experts exchange insights with people facing similar regional realities.

Whether you are exploring market entry, navigating regulatory change, building partnerships, or tracking emerging opportunities, the Regulatory Meet-Ups are designed to create more relevant and valuable connections.

How it works

Across the event’s three core days, the Regulatory Gaming Meetup Lounge (F4-17) will host a series of dedicated networking sessions running throughout the morning, lunchtime, and afternoon.

To attend, simply sign up through the website or via SBC Connect once the platform launches on 24 August 2026. Registration acts as confirmation, provided you hold a qualifying Networking, Business, or VIP Pass.

Part of something bigger

The Regulatory Gaming Meet-ups are one of the first major initiatives to emerge from SBC’s new partnership with the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).

The initiative reflects the growing importance of regulatory understanding within the global gaming industry, particularly as companies navigate increasingly fragmented regulatory frameworks and evolving compliance demands across international markets. It will see the three groups collaborate on regulatory education in igaming across SBC’s events and media properties over the next three years.

The Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups will also complement SBC Summit 2026’s wider conference agenda, where regulation and market-specific strategy will take centre stage across multiple dedicated tracks.

Alongside the meet-ups, delegates will be able to attend the three-day Global & Emerging Markets stage, which will explore the commercial, regulatory, and operational realities shaping key international markets. The programme will focus on Emerging Markets on Tuesday, Western Europe on Wednesday, and Latin America on Thursday, offering region-specific insights into the opportunities and challenges defining each landscape.

In parallel, SBC Summit will also feature a dedicated regulatory-focused conference stream, with Global Regulations taking place on Tuesday, the Player Protection Symposium on Wednesday, and Compliance Tech on Thursday. Together, these tracks will examine everything from licensing and compliance to safer gambling, enforcement, monitoring tools, and the technologies helping businesses navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments.

But that’s not all…

The Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups are just one part of SBC Summit 2026’s expanded networking programme.

From pre-booked one-on-one meetings through the SBC Connect app, to speed networking, guided show floor tours, and evening events like INFINITY Lisbon, SBC Summit offers a variety of networking experiences tailored to different styles, helping you network with greater clarity and confidence.

Looking to attend the Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups to deepen your understanding of the markets you operate in or identify where the industry’s next major opportunities may emerge?

Access to the meet-ups is available to Networking, Business, and VIP Pass holders.

To compare ticket options, explore what each pass includes, secure your ticket, or apply for a complimentary pass (available to operators, affiliates, and regulators), visit the SBC Summit ticket overview page.
