SBC: Can you share the story behind the founding of KingBet Media? What inspired you to start the company?
Nikos Olympitis: It all started 18 years ago. A group of three best friends, passionate about the internet and gaming business, dreamed of creating something that would make a significant impact on the gaming community and serve as a valuable tool for both punters and customers.
Over all these years, we’ve been committed to providing our visitors with high-quality, unique content while staying on top of the latest trends. At the same time, we’ve consistently delivered excellent performance to the operators who partner with us.

SBC: How do the comprehensive betting statistics and tips provided by your experienced authors set KingBet Media apart from competitors?
NO: Working with a team of nearly a hundred professionals, including the market’s top journalists and tipsters, we produce over 300 unique pieces of content daily—ranging from tips and reviews to vidcasts, social media posts, and SEO content. With the integration of the most accurate data providers, we can confidently say that our network is far ahead of the competition.
SBC: Given that KingBet Media operates several affiliate sites, how do these sites differentiate themselves from one another in terms of target audience and service offerings?
NO: I completely agree—when managing different web properties, it’s essential to find ways to differentiate each one to attract diverse audiences and effectively serve your customers.
In our case, we initially differentiated our brands by focusing on sports and iGaming, offering unique characteristics and content on each site within our network.

Within our sports content properties, we aim to meet various punter needs across different sites, offering everything from quick and easy reading tips to AI-driven reviews and tips from the most reliable journalists in the market.
SBC: Your sites offer a wide range of content including sports news, podcasts, vidcasts, live betting, and casino shows. Which of these features has been the most popular among your users, and why?
NO: The popularity of our content varies across platforms. Betting tips and match reviews consistently top our visitors’ preferences, while we’ve noticed that casino-related content is becoming increasingly popular on social media platforms.
Additionally, branded content related to lifestyle has shown great results in terms of viewability. I believe this reflects the latest trend for operators to build awareness within affiliate networks.
SBC: Beyond Greece, which new markets are you currently exploring and what strategic advantages do these markets present for your expansion?
NO: Expanding into new markets is always our greatest challenge and biggest opportunity. Changes in the regulatory environment across regions are the main factor influencing our decisions for expansion.
We have decided to operate only in regulated regions. With that in mind, the UK and Nordics are in our plans for 2025, and we are also exploring opportunities in LATAM.
We aim to operate in countries that are mature enough to provide a significant variety of customers and, from a content perspective, allow us to offer fully localised products.
SBC: What major trends are you seeing in the industry right now?
NO: We operate in a very fast-moving environment. I would say that the industry has become much more tech-savvy in recent years.
Operators and affiliates who can quickly adapt, offer new and innovative features, and successfully integrate different providers are the ones gaining market share.
